September 11, 2001:

Every year for the past 9 years, this day has been a world-wide day of somber remembrance and soul touching grief.

Each of us can remember exactly where we were, what we were doing at that horrible moment in history.

In my mind and heart, it will always be, The day that the whole world stood still.

Though, I personally knew no one involved, and have never even personally visited any of the places attacked that day, It broke my heart, and forever changed myself and my perception of the world around me.

The one thing it did not change, is my faith, trust and belief in the ideals that my proud country were founded on, if anything, it strengthened my pride as an American.

Especially in the days, months, weeks, and years to follow...

The entire world seemed to unite and rally to a common cause and shared emotion on an awe inspiring level.

I am just one American citizen, but I know people around the world shared my country's pain that fateful day 9 years ago.

Whoever you are, wherever you call home in this world, Please just take 1 moment of your day not to remember the Tragedy that befell Americans, or America the country that day..

Take a moment to see the bigger picture...

It is about people, just plain, ordinary people.

Cast aside all the politics and "reasons" for this immense tragedy, and you will find the same thing that is found at the heart of every great tragedy throughout history.

Lives lost, senselessly...

Just everyday people going to work, going back to their homes and loved ones, just ordinary people, living their lives

Human beings...

The idea that we, as human beings of any nationality, race, or creed continue throughout history, and will no doubt continue into the future to turn on each other, with such hatred and violence breaks my heart, as a person, and as an American.

Peace love and happiness to each of you.

May gods hand stroke your brow in the darkness, and angel wings wipe away your tears.

May you as a Human being find your own personal peace.

May your heart be touched by all the death, and senseless violence that goes on all over this beautiful planet that we all share.

Tragedy, natural or man-made is all around us, everywhere, every day.

I believe we are all connected to each other on an energetic and spiritual level. We are all just human beings, making our way through life as best we can.

Love your neighbor, befriend your enemy, and open your heart to the hearts of others, whether you know them or not.

We are all in this together.
