Like scenes from an artsy music video. I can almost hear the voice of Sting. ;)

Can I assume that the "effects" are all in-camera and this is a simple scan? On the dyptich - a nice concept, although if simplicity in comparison was the idea was there a conscious decision to include the tracks in the second? Take the second as a rhetorical question if you wish ;)

I really like your work. I'd be very interested in knowing if these are scans of the negs or prints? That isn't a rhetorical question, I really would like to know :-)

@ Kort : You're right! It makes me think to a mix between " Be still my beating heart " and "Desert rose " :) @ inshaala ; paul leatham : Yes, this is a simple scan and I got the effect scanning two negatives in sandwich. This dyptich is part of a little serie called, just, " Tracks" :)) There are rounded tracks also in the first image but they are barely visible in this little format. This work is, first of all, a dialogue ( and so I chose the dyptich presentation) between the environment and the human figure, which is always present, albeit in different ways. He's tiny for conceptual reasons: at first, although small, his mere presence, the human figure can "crush" the environment and to stop the natural apparent regularity; and for second, for to get the de-personalization of the uman figure. The de-personalization is used at existentiala level ; man is a rational been and, apparently, he own the knowledge, but in many cases he's not aware of the most intimate and innate tying him to the environment. In some ways modern man is only a mere spectator of his current inability to establish a mutual exchange with the environment, to which he belongs. Thank you so much for interest :)

Wonderful work. I really like the minimalistic beauty of these two shots. Excellent presentation as well. Favorites for me.
