you are constantly reinventing art in your life, and each time you do, you create yet another complete universe. I love the grained background throughout, it looks as if you painted this on an old stone wall. Each area has a world of its own inside, each is strong & yet very "child-like" (innocent, with the free flowing forms & figures that children love to draw), your hues are soaked in wonderful greens & blues, you layer blue over green, rich reds over greenish-yellows, your forms are wonderfully primitive like the drawings in Lascaux and other cave arts. There is a sense of children's art, but also of very basic abstract "inventories", as if you are trying out new brushes and new forms. The blue & purple "blobs" in the upper left are good examples. (beautiful.) And even though this piece is less "busy" than some of your earlier collages, it still has that "life as a city and jazz performance" feeling to it. It still has many worlds, they're all different, but they all relate to each other with total equilibrium and balance. More masterful work from you. This whole ps series is just wonderful, Emilio.
