You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

Beautiful tabby. I love her splash of orange and her strong dark lines.

The best Pound pet(R.S.P.C.A.) ever and after 18 years, the longest living one ! She kinda looks a tad embarassed though, having shots of her cleaning her butt ! Dig the motion blur action capture in the top frame...that's my pussy ! ~Cheers~ :o)

Love it not quite sitting not quite laying down. Litting perhaps?

Not sure I fancy the fishy brekky, but the rest of her day sounds great!

How relaxing and how pure, no worries she has for sure. Life's so easy for a cat. With a boss called blondeblurr there is always love in her head! ♥

Well Brigitte, you and Jeff certainly have a prize winning Monkey. This made me realize that most people appreciate cute puppies and kittens for good reasons. But those cats 'n dogs at the other end of their lives reserve a special place in our hearts. Congrats on a wonderful series of pictures of your special family member. :-)

It's just mind boggling how we are in different hemispheres, your son is named Jeff and you also have a cat named Monkey! hahaha! 18 years... amazing! Must be the fresh oceanside air!

These are such beautiful captures of Monkey and yes they do have a great life. You can't help but spoil them though can you. I was up half the night with our cat last night as he was so restless. I think he could feel the aftershocks as they had a lot evidently last night though we didn't feel them thank goodness.

I'd count myself fortunate if I was 1/2 that bendy!

This is a family member I'd heard about but not seen, at least in such portraiture. Great shots! Give her a pet for me.

The meaning of life...! ;o)

A wonderful series of the mistress of the house. She certainly doesn't look 18. Mine was a beautiful siamese rescued from the animal jail. She graciously allowed me to live in her house. We were together for 19 years.

I looked back to find your lovely friend. She was beautiful! Such lovely, long, white whiskers. She looks very content here. She had a wonderful and long life. My deep sympathies to you and your family.
