Description

Crates fell away as the tingling of the grav field swept through and then came the buffeting shock of the sonic boom as the craft accelerated away taking most of the smoke with it in a swirling, curving tornado of disturbed air that tried to follow the vanished ship. "Hey, boss. Lang's dead. His lyle burned him up." He turned his head to look at the speaker. "Disturb me again, cretin and I will strangle you with your own guts. Now gather up your little pack and get out of here." The man started to say something then saw the dead, cold look. He turned and quietly gave orders to the rest of them. Turning his attention back to where the ship had vanished he pulled out a secur-com and activated it. "They managed to get away." "Why am I not surprised?" asked the holo-star voice. "In this case it's a good thing. But you'll be happy to know that the planet guard has been no more successful. They lost two interceptors which crashed into a building. To top that off they couldn't track it. Must have a hell of a pilot on that thing. It jumped just as it cleared the atmosphere. And you're going to love this. They were pushing about 225 gravities as they jumped." "Compensators? On a craft that small?" "Will wonders never cease. The man can think sometimes. Yeah! Either they have compensators or they're all jelly. Look, clean up your mess there and get back here. We'll be leaving shortly but I've got some meetings to attend to that can't be put off. And try not to get lost on the way." Clicking the secure-com off he glanced at it then dropped it to the ground and crushed it with the heel of his shoe. For the first time in his life he hated. The scene replayed itself in his mind as his bolt passed between the pilot's neck and shoulder without touching him and then the gleam of the man's glasses as he snapped off a shot not at him to kill him but at a crane-load which crashed down uncomfortably close. "Well, Mr. Pilot. She may be off-limits but I'm going to make real sure that you aren't. And I'm going to watch the life slip from you as I look you in the eyes and kill you slowly." Turning he made his way out of the port and headed back to Giganoth. He also wanted to stuff that taunting holo-vid voice back down the throat of the speaker but it wasn't time to be thinking about that yet. No one stopped him as he stalked through the terminal area and then hailed a cab. As he rode back, he found himself thinking. Why had the big man said it was a good thing? To be continued.....

yeah we dont want no cretins to disturb us.well done lol. problem is :there is too many of these around ,we might end up speaking to no one anymore lol.
