Description

Please copy and paste to view ... http://amberswann.com/images/stories/ViviansDreamVanity.jpg - Yes... that is a picture of the original vanity that I found on the internet more than two years ago, I've had this picture that long and so wanted to create it for my 3D character -Vivian- in my drama - Bomaw. However, I haven't the skill to do such a thing, and as busy as I am, where would I find the time to learn it? Desperate because soon I was going to be writing a scene about this vanity with my character sitting in front of it, and I wanted to illustrate the scene, I sent that picture to FOUR vendors/merchants - basically - begging ... guess which one answered the call? Powerage! AND within 28 days! I sent an email to him and others with the link to that vanity mid August - it hit the market, as you all know, early September!!! This image is dedicated to Powerage... Now, truth is, he was inspired by it - and it went along with his tastes of other things he's done - however, he emailed me back and sad "It is very inspiring, yes - I will do it, and soon!" Soon? Anyone here who hangs out at the Daz3d forum waiting for things, knows the true definition of that word! LOL - oh how I wish they would adopt Powerage's definition of "Soon" And there it is... Props - nothing but props to you! M. Kudos to Powerage and to you for a very realistic scene! I can imagine sitting there to put on makeup or comb my hair....perhaps a dab of perfume. The reflection is the mirror is awesome! You rock!

It's beautiful. Probably from the 1930s would be my guess. I have a bedroom set from my grandmother and its very similar.

It does look beautiful - I've come across powerage in the past and have seen the name pop up here and there, but I didn't know her could make you something for your book so soon = you must of given him some excellent pictures to work with... years ago when I painted a lot, I'd have people give me small 3 x 5 pictures and expect me to make a 4 ft x 3 picture off of it - I'd do what I could with it, but they just didn't realize ya gotta see the detail - powerage did great - thanks for sharing.

Powerage did a great job with the vanity. It looks better than the real thing! And as for your rendering, I think it could pass for a photograph... I like all the "extras" in the picture. A terrific collaboration!
