Description

There’s a Dutch painter, who’s sunflowers are famous, Ive seen them several times at different occasions, wondering about the prizes they will pay for it. And to be honest, the original paintings aren’t that bright at all. They’re great, no doubt, but I prefer the natural version. This bunch of sunflowers on our window sill cost about $ 15,- And I think their more beautiful as the famous ones. About 14 days every day to enjoy, and next year new ones. Maybe enlarging this photograph and sell the print for a reasonable prize! Affordable for everyone . An option? I know, it is not a good comparison, but still…. Postwork in Paint Shop Pro X2 I hope you like it. Thanks for your kind comments, take care, smile and have a colorful and creative day.

I like the natural looking leaves and the single fallen petal.

It's a wonderful shot. Perhaps someday when you are a famous artist this will sell for forty million :)

this is a nice shot, of nice sunflowers... I think the 15 million, for a Van Gogh, is for his emotional intensity and the original style of his visions as an artist.

Fantastic photo and the vase is very nice. Nice Zen touch with the single petal on the tabletop

I'd always prefer having the natural ones in my room instead of Van Gogh's paiting...not only that they're cheaper, it's much healhtier as well, because natural flowers are good for the mood and wouldn't cause one cutting an ear off like Vincent did. ;-) Very very nice shot & composition!

Beautiful capture! That would make a great print. To bad works of art only get priced that high after your dead. ;)

A fantastic image Hubby has been bringing me sunflowers out of this man's garden and putting them in a vase for me.........I look at them for days...and they are so pretty as this image is as well I love the single petal of the sunflower on the table and the little angel looking up at the sunflowers.... Your painter friend is brilliant A fav with me Yes...I think he could sell them but dunno about the $15 more like $10 Hugs Susan~

They may not be worth $40 million but they look so pretty and vibrant and would surely brighten anyone's day.

Aaaah .. the perfect vision! The gorgeous vase so compliments the marvelous sunflowers! Paintings are wonderful, but none can match Mother Nature's work!
