Description

Yesterday we took a helicopter tour of the Kilauea volcano, both the caldera and the area along the coast where mgma pours into the sea . We saw no lava because of the heavy plumes from both the volcano itself and the hot magma meeting the sea water. It was difficult to get a good shot from the back row of the helicopter, and reflections were also a problem. But here's my best take. It could be worse. I hope everybody is enjoying looking at my pictures as much as I enjoy taking them. :)))

You're following the same trail I did last year, though I didn't do the helicopter tour,. You sure get an awesome view!!

Back seat or not, its a great shot of the PuuŌ `ō vent. It must have been a thrill to tour via helicopter over the active volcano... Excellent job. Aloha
