after 7 years i'm finally getting around in adding some info on this page. never really thought about doing it. i have been a member here since July 15th 2006, and have learned alot from fellow artists. i would have about 1300 images or so posted but have deleated many of my first pieces. and still consider myself a developing artist at this wonderful site. i'm 56 years old this year "2013" and was born in North Dakota. i have lived in Colorado since 1967 and enjoy this place alot. my stepfather was in the air force and we lived in Bermuda after North Dakota for a few years before coming here where he got stationed.. and so much enjoy many of the finest artist in the world who post here.. love you all and your amazing friendships we share.. lol Steve
i enjoy working with poser, i have such a dinosaur version i use, (p6) wish i had poser 2012 at least. i also use photoshop 7 for most of my work i post here. but more so photography is my main passion, just hope to get a camera again someday.

A beautiful image with a lovely bg and excellent posing. I love those green spheres hanging there too. I'm glad things are going well for your Mum but I guess she is sick of fluids now.

What sublime artistry! Your sense of balance and polish is truly astounding. Your sense of realism and attention to detail reminds me of the old Dutch masters. The gnarled tree in the background gives a marvelous Gothic ambiance to the piece. Excellent rendering!

Looks wonderful Steve. I know what you mean, I have had to spit my renderings into partitions for the sake of quality from time to time. I'm glad to hear your mother is improving. All my hopes.

My sister had extensive surgery for late stage ovarian cancer. The digestive issues kept her a few extra days in the hospital and gave her the most issues afterwards. While she is not free from the effects of the surgery, she is so much better that a comparison is like night and day. It is over two years since her surgery and she is doing very well. From her experience, I would say to follow the recommended diet and take any changes in diet slowly. Also take heart that though the healing takes time, it will get better. I hope the test results come back as negative for cancer. My best to her, you, and family and friends. Beautiful image! Wonderful composition, mood, detail, and reflections! I love the trees and the way you have integrated the picture into your image. The reflections are superb! I love the reflections within reflections. Beautiful pose, shading, and expression of your character. Interesting titles on the books. I have read Pepys' account of the Plague of 1665 in his diary, but haven't gotten to the great fire of 1666 yet. I need to get back to it as I have only read through February so far. I like the faces in the globes. Excellent render!
