Description

Hi all. For a change here is a fresh peacock. A photo of today. There were several butterflies in the garden behind our house. 'Gangs' pictures I shot. Then, just doubt what I will post. I hope I have made a good choice. "It comes from a good heart", they say here in the Netherlands. So, now I hope you believe me, he, he! BTW : We say: Dagpauwoog. The Latin name is: Aglais io. It is family of the Nymphalidae, also as the Aurelia is (which I 'shoot' also to day.) Wishing you a very lovely Sunday further, and many thanks for your nice comments on my earlier upload. Bye, Bye!

Excelelnt capture! This gorgeous little butterfly actually reminds me of a fractal. Once more it just helps prove that nothing we can create with our various digital art programs can ever compete with the beauty that is in nature. Great work.

This is an absolute stunner, Jacomina - wish I could see these ones here in OZ ! but I do remember them from my original home Country (Germany), we used to call them 'Tagpfauenauge' - not far removed from the Dutch language - 'Dagpauwoog' ? hmm, maybe not ? Gorgeous capture, BB
