Description

This cockerel seemed to be guarding his hens. Not sure what type they are but they are very good looking. This was captured at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire during my weekend away.

I think they're Cochins. Fabulous hens and wonderful layers, so I believe. Not that I'm an expert, being vegan. Wonderful image. Chickens have amongst them some spectacularly beautiful specimens. ^=^
