Description

There's a bike/skate park only a mile from me, so I moseyed on down there one afternoon to get some pics. The kids were great -- very willing to show off for the camera. This guy was very good on his bike, and made quite a few runs through the bowl for me. I can't imagine the number of injuries that comes with the acquisition of skills such as these kids displayed. Actually, maybe I can... One skateboarder had a truly spectacular wipe-out, and although he was not seriously injured (thanks, safety equipment!), he was a hurtin' puppy, and did NOT look like he was enjoying himself thereafter.

Amazing action shot. I have taken lots of motorbike and skateboard shots and I know how hard it is to get a shot of air.

Oh, I have seen SO very many wipe-outs...! Just my thought, too, before I read your commentary. Maybe you could subtitle this "For a Faceful fo Concrete!"
