Description

This was a personal project I've been wanting to do for a while. I always thought her character was the perfect villain. Margaret Hamilton played her in the movie The Wizard of Oz and she did such a wonderful job of bringing out her wickedness. All modeling done in ZBrush. Rendered in ZBrush with multiple passes and comped in Photoshop with some color correction and a little bit of overpainting (hair, DOF, and color dodging and correcting here and there.) **Best viewed at full size**

Been quite a few years since I have sat through this movie, always fun to watch. I can remember back to childhood and it was coming on tv I think for the first time and how excited all of us kids were we got to lay in moms and dads bed that night and watch it ... Love your image here, and the memories it brings back..

Superb work mate. The fresnel effect on the clothing is superb (how did you do it? separate passes or a new matcap?). Top stuff.
