Description
In 1949 this AEC Regal 1/2 cab bus was state of the art public transport. It operated around the Mansfield & District area of Nottinghamshire and was run by the Midland General bus company. This beautifully preserved bus is kept at the Midland Railway Centre, Swanwick, nr Derby.

I've got a photo around here of Reg Varney from 'On The Buses' having dinner with my family at home! My cousin was Barry Crocker's manager and it was all pretty big deal in those days!!!!
