I enjoy creating artwork in Poser, Photoshop CC, Vue, and DAZ Studio. I also have a passion for photography, and have been actively shooting for many years. I've been using Poser since Version 8, and am also learning my way around DAZ Studio. I've been using Adobe Photoshop since version 4. I also use Vue 10. I frequently use my photos as backgrounds, and composite my 3D figures into them.
I have been creating my web comic / graphic novel "The Girls From T.N.A." since fall of 2009, and have been a member of Renderosity since August 2009. I've made a lot of wonderful friends here, and have been inspired every time I visit!
I will soon have a more complete biography, as I am updating everything. In the meantime, have a look around my gallery!
Thanks!
Rod

Built to frustrate the enemy: anything that could fly fast enough couldn't fly high enough and anything that could fly high enough, could fly fast enough.

I've seen about 3 of these in museums...at the USAF Museum (2) and Boeing. They are so sleek. My favorite story about one is written by a pilot who was fired at while over-flying Libya back about 1980...an SA-2 (might have the number wrong) was fired at him...this missile could reach his altitude (above 80,000 feet) and exceed his speed (above MACH 3)...he knew it was coming...still had to fly straight and level to finish his camera run...then hit a point where he could execute a 180 degree turn and head for home...he made it before the missile caught him, took the entire Mediterranean to complete his turn and still overshot his refueling tanker at Gibraltar...sheesh. Great render...love your billowing sky!

I've seen the one at Boeing (and have pictures of it ... well ... PARTS of it of course, since I never take pics of ALL of anything) and it's pretty impressive! I recognized this right off the bat. A fab model, and what you've done with it is spectacular! Speaking of those shots of the parts ... if you come up with a reason to need pics of this plane from ground level, just give us a yell. We've both got stuff you're welcome to use! :D

lol, I was sitting her thinking "is this real" "it looks real" "but how did he get that shot". Then I read.... you tricked me. Excellent render, looks real.

Fantastic image Rod, even better that you used a shot you took during your trip for the background. The composite is seemless, this baby looks beautiful soaring through those clouds. I never knew the nickname for the SR71 was Habu.
MagikUnicorn
Love that plane...invisible from radar
