My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

This is a beautiful picture! I love the little furled flowers, the lovely green leaves, the rocks, and of course the flowers.

I love these! I've just started underplanting some camelias with them in my new front drive bed.

Oh Hun - I have so much to catch up on in your gallery... don't want to miss anything!! This is most marvelous. I love cyclamens but they are not happy here - it is too hot! Miss you and can't wait to talk to you and Bill!!!

Yes, these little flowers stood tall (4-5 inches) against the 4-5 foot tall granite boulder...perfect front door greeters...eagerly saying, "Glad to see you, welcome to our home." You've caught them expressing their hospitality:)

A lovely capture of these beautiful little flowers. I have bought quite a number of these this year to sprinkle around my garden as they had a good special on them so I am hoping that they all grow for me.

Lovely little color burst! I find it interesting how the stalks are angled the same way to make best use of the sunlight. Delightful and well composed photo, Tara!
