Vediamo oggi il macaone con le ali completamente aperte, dopo una paziente attesa ! Per gran parte del tempo ha continuato a aprire e chiudere le ali a velocità incredibile , solo a tratti aveva una pausa e era necessario approfittare di essa .Ho molti scatti con le ali mosse .Ma l’unica virtù che ho in abbondanza è la pazienza .
Today we see the swallowtail with wings wide open, after a patient wait! For most of the time continued to open and close their wings at incredible speed, only occasionally had a break and had to take advantage of it. I have many shots with the wings move. Adult

Caterpillar
The caterpillars are green with yellow rings dotted with blacks.
Biology
The caterpillars feed on Apiaceae, such as fennel and carrots.
If disturbed, evaginate from behind the head a couple of horn-shaped glands (osmeterium), emitting an odor repellent that keeps predators.
Stylish and agile in flight, the male is also a defender of its territory, if you happen to see two circling neighboring daring stunts, probably one is trying to oust the other.
Even the swallowtail butterfly has the typical behavior hilltopping, or try to fly above the highest point of land is located in (domain).
Distribution
It riviene meadows and marshes of Europe, temperate Asia and Japan, and is also found in arctic or subarctic regions of Canada and the United States
