I first discovered photography at the age of 8or 9 when i was given an old box brownie and after a couple of years I progressed to a Kodak folding camera I remember it took a size 127 film.
My father built me a dark room in the loft and I spent many hours learning about processing and printing my films, both black and white and colour. when marrige and family came along time for the processing side of photography had to take a back seat.  After 50 years working we retired to Chard in Somerset southwest England (we think it could be the best part of the world). About 3 years ago we got into digital photography , recently my son Ian who has a site on renderosity (iambrose) talked me into joining, I am so glad he did as it's so nice to read the comments and see how other people view your pictures.Â

Adding insult to injury (extreme injury) he's stepping on it! This reminds me of Lord Thomas' treatment of the brown girl in the ballad. (At least the version we bloodthirsty kids sang with great enthusiasm) "He taken the brown girl by the hand, led her cross the floor, cut her head clean off with his sword, and kicked it against the door." This is after she has killed fair Eleanor and before Thomas kills himself, exclaiming, "Boys, boys. Was there ever such a wedding before?" I think if there were any boys still hanging around to answer, it would be a resounding, "NO!" Great image and interesting statue! Is he a Roman that's just cured Boadicea's headache. She definitely caused a few headaches for the Romans, though with no slight provocation.
