Description
My sister just purchased a 2 family house. The apartments are fine except for the bathrooms. So today we started, a fairly simple project has turned into a nightmare. The plumbing is the original from 1928 when the house was built. The drains are lead pipe and the water lines are brass pipe. So after tearing up the floor, where all the pipes run, and start to upgrade to more modern plumbing. So a one day simple job will be at least three days now. This is the first one on the second floor, the downstairs one is in a couple of weeks.
I am exhausted, my knees are killing me and I can tell that my back will be stiff tomorrow. I just hope when it's time to do the other bathroom things will go a little bit better, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Thanks for peeking and all the comments, I do appreciate them.

Nice one, is that Apo or UF? I'm an Electronics Tech so I've had Technicians Nightmares before, wake up in a sweat because Electrons were kickin the crap outa me. Plumbing ain't fun I know, replumbed a couple of old houses before. Might not have to tear up the first floor, should be Crawl Space under the place, hopefully. Peace

I really like these orbiting planets. They must be where the little green men live. (Treens to those who remember The Eagle) What a great brother to have! Oh the knees.....I feel for you. Still, if you weigh the metal in at your local scrapyard, you should get enough to have a pint down at the pub. Cheers:-)
