Hermes is a grec god, son of Zeus and Maia. He is the messenger god and protects the messengers, the travelers and the shepherds. His attributes are his hat with two wings, the caduceus (not on this image) and the rooster. He has a pair of wings at his sandals to increase his speed. It is told that he was a pretty good musician and he invented the lyre and much more other things such as dices. Unfortunatly, you can not entirely trust him : he is the god of the liars...and the orators!
