Description
One of a whole boat load of pics taken the last few time we were at the Hollow. This was taken a little more then a week ago. It was early afternoon and the sun was filtering through the trees. Murphy and I were walking in the field at the edge of our woods. This is just the best time of year at the Hollow. Mother Nature decorates everything in golds and purples, regal colors.
Many thanks for all the delightful thoughts on the previous post, all about fractal fashions! Tnank you for all the faves, very encouraging to me.
Still catching up .. but I feel I might be making some headway. I have to go back to some of your galleries as I was very behind and wanted to at least see and comment on some of the more recent works.

What a beautiful day there! I can feel the day...hot, clear sun but still cold in the deep, mossy shadows....or maybe I'm just thinking of the weather here. The little asters are so pretty...a favorite. You did so well to capture the wonderful sun rays, and I'm surprised with that lighting, that you didn't add the glimmer of some fairy wings!

one of your inspired & beautiful photos of the Hollow and of the nature you visit in general. This is beautiful in no small part for the foreground layer of grasses & flowers, set apart by the beautiful light that graces them; all against the more 'dissolved' background of trees & leaves, etc, and of course sky. The light filtering through on top is a fine counterpart to the light on the wildflowers in front. Yes it's september, lots of green with the beginning of fall colors; and it's deep & rich. And that light up front is beautiful. A very loving photo of a place that I know you love. It's always nice how you share it with everyone, whenever you go...
