I hate both (old) parties and the problem is "politics". We must evolve. But let's face it. They already killed us oldies. They opened Pandora's box and Clinton helped them to do that (repealed Glass- Steagall without new safeguards). Any money you paid into SS did not go to some banker. You're believing the dem's lies. That money went to DC. And as soon as it got there, it went into the general fund. Which means it got spent. @UVDan I agree about 90% I DO believe that there ARE citizen statesmen in congress,tho. IMHO Senator Bernie Sanders (I-Vt) is one. Some say Dennis Kucinich(D-Oh) and Ron Paul(R-Tx). But mostly, I find both parties pretty much indefensible. Sad. Seems like they kiss our tails for votes, and KICK our tails once they're elected.

Great message and image. Even when it wasn´t the universal healthcare that came out (keep on pushing)some progress was made. Our health care system here in the EU is under pressure too, but that means that we have to include more types of income to finance it. Currently it´s largely dependent on wages (which are stagnating, if not declining for most of us), so we´d have to include rents and all other types of capital income on the financing side and abolish artificial monopolies for the pharmaceutical corps on spending. Furthermore we need a minimum wage. So the same struggle is going on here too, but (still) at a higher level of coverage. At the moment nearly everybody is insured (about 200.000-400.000 non insured at 82 Mio. people in Germany.)
