Description
This Western Leopard Toad (Amietophrynus pantherinus) flattened himself when I pointed my camera in his direction.
It is one of the many I found on the road at night in my car headlights. Photographed in my bath before releasing it away from the road and close to the water of the marina.
Off to the AAD Expo 2010 ( Ysterplaat - Cape Town ) soon. Hope it does not rain!

They are much smaller than I thought! Excellent shot of this endangered cutie Clive! Saturday night in Bloem at the wedding venue when I walked to my car I missed stepping on a bullfrog by mere millimeters... It was a HUGE sucker - about the size of a melon!!! Yikes....
