Description

Just a quick portrait tonight with Thrish's AmayaBleu. Having way to much fun with her. Thank you for al the wonderful comments and favs on my last few images. Got an email the other day that the staff put my Professor VH Shariah in the backroom gallery. Was thrilled someone liked her. Godin did a great job with this charater and Fabiana did a great job with the University girl props and outfit. I was at the vets yesterday with my latest adopted cat. She is having some problems. The vet had to shave her belly to examine the swelling on her stomach. He started to shave her and all of asudden there was this big scar that neither of us where aware of previously. He kept shaving and following the scar and saying"what the heck is this". The scar went from half way up her left side all the way across her belly to half way up her other side. It almost looke like something almost cut her in half. The scar is all healed up and was not the reason for the swelling of her glands. Vet called it cystic hyperplasia and we put her back on antibiotics... I asked the vet where he had gotten her from as I had adopted her from him. He did not know where she came from other then someone brought her to him and said they found her under a house with a litter of kittens. She is not a feral cat as she is so gentle and loving. She is about a year old. She sure did not start her life very well but we are trying to give her a good home with our other 2 adopted cats. Shade is so patient with her even though when she first came she almost ripped his nose off. They are now best friends. I have had her for almost 6 weeks and I had no idea she had this scar on her stomach as she has such thick hair. I can't believe I adopted 3 cats and all 3 of them have something wrong with them. Unbelieveable. Must get some sleep. Bedtime, goodnight. Hugs Liz

This is really beautiful - I could look at her for hours!...But I have some work to do. She is lovely. I'm sorry to hear about your cat. But as people, some cats starts bad and then get a better life. I always had at least one cat in my life - a home without a cat is not a home! They give so much to you and they deserve so much attention and care from us! Have a nice day, Liz!

Poor kitty. I have several. One has no back legs. They all have problems, too. I can relate. Thing is, I'm a dog person. But they all get along with my rotty & pits. Don't feel sorry for legless 'Scoot', she is alpha & gets around just fine. She has no idea she is a handi-cat. ;) Nice work! ")

Such a beautiful expression you gave her! Wonderful portrait! One of my cats has allergies...its a difficult problem to deal with since he likes to leap around and roll in all the stuff that aggravates the allergies!

Absolutely lovely work, her silver hair plays off perfectly against her radiant skin tones both of which pop right out of the dark background. Deft use of special effects plays to a strong finish. Well one thing you can say is that Miss Kitty is clearly a survivor and one tough girl. You better have a lot of long term love in your heart for her because me thinks that she'll be with you for a very long time. She's a girl who isn't gonna go down without a fight.
