Description
If you thought I was P.O'ed at DAZ already...
I bought this fast grab & NOWHERE on the page or on the product page was it stated that it would not work properly in DAZ Studio.
I mean I bought it at DAZ so it should work in DAZ, right? Or at least give you a warning.
Not until you have already given them your money
and installed it, comes the read me stating, in several places, that it will not work in properly DAZ Studio. WTF? That's twice now. At least this didn't screw my whole runtime up like the last one. And they still haven't get back to my complaints on that one, either. Ignored, again.
If I don't hear from them by this weekend, I'm calling the phone number on the site. & if I only get a recording, somebody, somewhere, is going to feel my wrath. What if your local Wal-Mart did that? They would be out of business in a heartbeat.
Anyway. I had to re-work her & use human surface shaders & kick up the bumps etc. etc. a p.i.t.a.
& to make it even more creepy, she looks like my mother. She was not a nice woman.
Rant, rant, rant...
Maybe I should have called this one 'Dragonfire Kindled', instead.

Yeah, that's one reason why I stick to Poser. D|S in my opinion, just isn't as complete a product as Poser is, and this is just another example of why. It did create a very nice looking portrait, though.

LOL at the 'Dragonfire Kindled' Not good that they sell a product that doesn't work in Daz should be done by the consumers guarantee, faulty goods not fit for the purpose it was made for or not stating it wouldn't work on their system..

This is a beautiful portrait! Sounds like Daz is not being kind to you this week. Don't wait for the email...CALL them now. I usually do both when I have an issue, lol

DAZ has refunded my money twice (gave me a credit I should say) when I bought products that do not work on my Mac...and were not clearly marked for PC ONLY. In fact on one of the products they actually re-labelled it on the website so the PC ONLY was more evident. It took a couple weeks each time, but I did get my money back (as a credit). You still made a beautiful image out of a disaster! :)

I have to say Daz usually gets back to me within 24 hours but they usually can't help me with whatever problem I am having and eventually work it out myself. But you still manged to produce a beautiful character, but her eyelash could use a trim...lol Hang in there Angel !!!

I would agree with Bazza on this but dont know how consumer law applies in the USA from my experience the customer support at this site is none existent. nice job you made of this frustrating situation!

Cool portrait Angel :) At least your PC works! Mine blew a hard drive so I'll be MIA for a while (be a few days before I get a new one :( Not looking forward to re building my runtime from scratch!!

Despite everything it's a wonderful portrait and stunning lighting. I can sympathize with you about Daz3D, I just don't buy from there any more if I can help it!!
