Description

One of my very old paintings, the image showcases "Radhika", Lord Krishna's beloved from Indian mythology. This particular piece depicts a typical Indian traditional style of painting usually known as "Ragamala Paintings" that flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries. The image was created using just the pen, dodge and burn tool in Photoshop 7. The entire image was completed with mouse and no tablet used. Mm! I know of ragamala from Indian classical music so its interesting to find it has a wider use. I still don't know how you manage such splendid work without the use of a stylus and tablet. Wonderful!

I have never heard of the word ragamala until now But I know you have done a wonderful image from the use of it I have PP9 and can only do a few things with it... Guess I am afraid I will mess something up and have to delete it and start all over again Another beautiful image...worthy of 10 stars ** Hugs Susan~
