C'est parce qu'il avait été envoûté par le livre de James Churchward de: "Lost Continent de Mu, la patrie de l'homme", édité en 1926, que Jacopo Bernardo Ammannati, le comte de Monte Fresco, un jeune aristocrate italien et aventurier, est parti pour l'expédition pour trouver le reste de la mystérieuse Lémurie, en 1933 ...
En 1937, il publie un roman d'aventures: «Gli Eradi di Mu" ("Les Héritiers de Mu") racontant la découverte, dans un archipel inconnu de l'océan Pacifique, des ruines cyclopéennes, coupé dans une falaise de granit rouge; ruines qui regarde les gens avec la peau sombre et les yeux clairs, avec des coutumes pacifiques et d'étranges pouvoirs ... Le roman parle de la belle princesse OREYONI, la fille de l'archipel, roi-prêtre: elle a été tatoués de la tête aux pieds ...
En 1997, une nouvelle expédition maritime privée, affrétée pour retrouver les traces de "La Boudeuse" le célèbre voilier de La Pérouse, dût faire halte sur une île inconnue...où fût ainsi découverte une porte de bronze colossale, barrant l'entrée ce qu'il conviendrait d'appeller un temple dans la roche.

In 1937, he published an adventure novel : "Gli Eradi di Mu" ( "The Heirs of Mu" ) telling the discovery, in an unknown archipelago of the Pacific Ocean, of cyclopean ruins, cut in a cliff of red granite ; ruins on which watched People with dark skin and clear eyes, with peaceful customs and strange powers... The novel speaks about the lovely Princess OREYONI, the daughter of the Archipelago Priest-King : she was tatooed from head to foot...
In 1997, a new maritime shipping private chartered to find traces of "Boudeuse" famous yacht La Perouse, had to halt on an uncharted island ... which was discovered and a massive bronze door, blocking the entry what might be called a temple in the rock.

So wonderful! I read all the Mu books as a teenager (not in 1926 happily) and was inspired to become an archeologist until I realized it meant sleeping in the jungle with bugs & snakes. Wouldn't it be fantastic to find a door such as this and what lay behind it? The stuff of dreamers and explorers. You are both. It's absolutely magnificent.

Fantastic work Dear Claude! Magnificent intricate brass temple doors! One's mind imagines all manner of beautiful treasures behind these doors, but what else lies beyond them? Traps to catch the unwary thief? Strange beings waiting for a human sacrifice? Or peace beyond measure.
