Description

That's called a dial phone for you youngsters. It's where you had to rotate a dial for each number and wait for it to come all the way back around before dialing another number. Oh, the hardships we had way back when. Made the room and the payphone. Painted the heels on a pair of ballet slippers. The neon sign outside the window is a 2D image I made in Photoshop and the citylights background is a photo. Outfit by Thorne, Mada

LOL, sat here and laughed all by myself at your explaination of a payphone, lol. You dont see those anymore of any kind, I guess you are SOL if you dont have a cell phone or the battery happens to be dead. Excellent scene, great composition and wonderful modeling!

Been a while since I've seen a rotary dial on a phone. I do remember a flash game one some website that did use one to see how well one could create a text message; imagine trying to use a rotary dial instead of the standard keypad or what passes as a keyboard for cell phones to text someone! One day, you may even have to explain what a pay phone is/was. Or a phone booth. I'm not even sure where they are where I'm live these days; there might still be one at the police station, but the others nearby are no longer there.
