An excellent historical depiction!! I would have the light coming in from the skylight more directly to illuminate the pool. Fabulous work!!

wonderful work. Remembering the Pompeian domus, I think it would be better to change the texture of the steps (Pompeian red as in the Domus Aurea or gray marble, ie) and the floor mosaic in the Tablinium. The texture you choose for the Impluvium floor is too elaborate and eye-catching, it's better to have it as a border ornament and the inner part just white. Well those are just my opinions ad suggestions and they are quite opinable!! ;-). You may also put some lamps on the walls with point lights. This way the impluvium would get more light.

Looks really great! Can't give much advice for improving the picture, looks great to me. As a side note, my inner grammar Nazi remembers from those latin class struggles that it should be "domus romanus" though, Nominative singular of the regular i-declination... ;) Either that or you use the ablative-form "domo romano", meaning "inside the roman house".

:) you're right, lookoo, it's a mix of latin (domus) + italian (romana) and is like "Roman house", house of roman age. the correct title must be: Domus Romanus.
