Description
As I lay huddled in my bed
Many tears I will shed
over this awful dread
When finally I fall asleep
The tears I no longer weep
In the morning when I awake
My heart again begins to ache
For my family, breakfast I will make
And school lunches for the children to take
The tears I will hide
To my family I’ll show my pride
Until at last I step outside
The birds sing promising a day a new
On the flowers I see the morning dew
I feel the morning sun
And it gives me the strength
To battle on
My friends are many
Their prayers they give
It is them I envy
I remember that I love and am loved
I think about the beauty of it all
Like seeing the flight of a morning dove
And I know I can endure it all
So into battle I will go
And I will emerge victorious
Because I know God’s love is glorious
And a true fighter I will show
Be the kings Knight
I too am battling a deadly disease

Sorry I am just getting to this Had chemo and that threw me for a loop Then a wicked migraine I hardly ever get anymore has kept me in bed For 2 days......I feel halfway decent today Many thanks for the render and the poem...I write poetry too have quite a few on Allpoetry.com.......if you want my name there just site mail me....... Dr just upped my Morphine a month ago.......this dosage is helping me more.. Now if it would only stay warm instead of chilly cool weather....but ah can't have it all.......I am up walking,talking and here today and looking at this great image you did for me........... Many thanks............ You said you were battling something too.........is it okay for me to ask what And you can site mail me.......
