Description

I don't know about any one else, but lately when I post my images they don't look anything near as good as they do on my PC. I always sharpen them in Photoshop. They look really sharp and detailed on my PC but when I post them here they look blurred and kind of dull. I first noticed this happening sometime in August. Has anyone else had this experience? This one looks especially bad. uf

No default zoom-in! Even since August, I noticed the defect that you quote! Always such beautiful compositions!

Did you download an image, and made a difference (e.g. in PSP), compared with your original? When the result is black there isn't any difference. If not then you're right. I myself do not recognize your experience. I always make two versions: one for Deviant Art, mostly a jpg with no or 1% compression, and one jpg for Renderosity with as much compression, needed to meet their requirements. This "Starla" is a wonderful one, as always is the case with your lovely spirals.

It's very sharp and looking at it full size my thoughts are that perhaps I might prefer it a bit softer. Bob

I love your posting today Anne. As always your work is beautiful and fantastically textured. I know on my post "Autumn Feel" posted Sept 18th, Claude19 commented wondering why the blur? I have to admit the image was disappointing when posted compared to the image that is on my PC. But most times they post the same as i expect them to, so maybe there is something in the settings simular between my pic that day and yours today.

I have a lot of problems posting here, I'm sure it has to do with the meager memory size limits here, I have to Compress the Jpeg 50-60%, loose a lot of clarity, Also if your ISP connection is at all shakey for some reason it will give problems with clarity also. A way to test is to post an image then download the full View, not Copy and paste or save as but download it, then see what it looks like, if it looks blured here and fine on the download it's the internet. Beautiful palette on this great job Peace
