Description

After some great constructive criticisms of my image 'GetaWay', I decided to make some changes to it. I removed the Log Cabin (not that I didn't like it - it is a very good model and will use it again in another scene). Also, I removed the clouds; relocated the sun; adjusted the water settings; and, added some additional models - these are: • Marc McGebhardt's Liriope plant in population via Painted shader available at Planetside. • Three individual Hot air balloon models - one by Greg; one by Dave; and, the other by an unknown modeler. All available at Planetside. • Used 'dandelO's' clip file for procedural grass - a great addition for most landscape scenes and available at Planetside. The other models are listed under the image 'GetaWay' ...enjoy. Bob

Superbly composed - I would not dream of doing something like this. I oft wondered if the water would reflect certain objects or images, and yes it does. The foremost balloon's is near the shore. A tip of the hat - Bob: again very well done!

@Rich; I already received a number of great critiques on this one which I have implemented; and, are now rendering. I think it will look better. I wish some of the folks here would give some constructive criticism such that one could be inclined to try them and improve their techniques.

In my opinion the big balloon is somehow disturbing the perfect idyll, I think.... or are the colours of the balloon not so fitting ??? something is disturbing me here, sorry !!! But nevertheless a wonderful and lovely composition, Bob..... greetings to you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

An outstanding atmosphere to the scene- this almost perfectly mimics the season right now where I am; trees are starting to turn, but lots of green grass. We've also had several days with blue, clear cloudless skies like this. Maybe a few patches of grass that are turning dry and brown?

@Paul: The grass/mud file by dandelO contains both green and lighter green/brown patches - however, in this image, there is not a large enough area to display it. I recommend visiting the 'reworked' version which I think is much better.
