Description

This is a 4D topological structure called Fano Planes. It is created in Ultra Fractal using a formula ray trace algorithm. The structure is created using thousands of tiny spheres with a radius of 0.01 inch. I have made a number of these, including a Klein bottle. Many are optical illusions (including this one). To verify this, try to follow any of the curved surfaces and see if you can tell where it leads. All are true 4D solids and can be rotated on any plane and viewed from any angle. I will upload them from time to time, depending on whether or not anybody likes this one.

This is awesome work Stan. I love the concepts you bring forward with the UF program, in the last few weeks you have exposed me to many many things i didnt even know my program was capable of. It is wonderful to see your posts and that you so willingly offer assistance in how to achieve them.

beautiful colors and detail. I love the contrast between the detailed bead-work of the center and the smooth, soft, flowing design of the outside.

I've never seen anything like this! I can't stop looking at it! The Fano Planes are so, so intriguing! And the stark difference between them and the smooth, background that has a depth of it's own, really makes this one pop! Wonderful fractal! Linda
