Spell Crafting! The Four Steps To a Spell
A young Moon Elven woman attempts to create a new spell using an inversion of the 1st level spell Melt (d&d), in which a pinch of soot, some rock crystals or rock salt, an arcane word and a flick of the wrist. She substitutes the soot for water, in the little bottle, and adds a pinch of the same crystals. She whispers the arcane word but backwards and than lets out a whistle and points her thumb down, the semantic and verbal components of the cantrip spell Chill(d&d). Will the combination work on blow up in her face?!
Research of your spells, Vigilance in your measures and application, and Observation of reactions and subtleties will generally lend a competent Mage Rewards!
Not only did her spell freeze the water drops, but it expanded into massive ice crystals!
With the new spell in hand she rushes to her master, a kindly Archmage, to show what she learned. Now what will she call her spell as naming a spell is both the creators privilege and dilemma.

This is four scenes and a total of 15 renders. Each cloth simulation was run many times for consistency. I made some of the textures, such as the shirt texture. I hope you like it.
