Description
Blame me?
I mean, there he's off again
starting up one of those
seemingly neverending
mind rambles, which may (hope
fully, parabliskly) actually
end up with a "moral
to the story" type of
ending.
An actual allegory.
IF it's a good day,
If not...
well, if I sort of
close my eyes, and
imagine all the words
as floating out of his mouth
and into the air above me,
searching specially for the
ones with letters "o" to which
I meticulously thread
through with a long
(very long)
silken streamer
and then tug it tightly
to bring all those words
together.
I could might make some
sense out of what
he's said, as much as in
the knotted jumble
of words (now somehow
colourfully tangled in my
imagination's
fingers).
But then again,
maybe I've got it all
wrong, perhaps there
is some sort of
"symbolic representation"
in that long drone of
words, perhaps
if I hadn't been so
busy, (or preoccupied)
lassoing
words with my
rainbow hued
ribbon I'd
have seen it.
Ok, ok, heard it at least,
and would have known
it for what it is, maybe.
I mean it could be
it is the world's
longest, most
patiently pronounced
out (for us less
fortunate, and
merely sane)
acronym.

Very interesting!

Fastest way to lose "merely sane" and jump into "crazy" with him is to try to find meaning! Yikes! I like your image of stringing all the words together via the Os. What a fantastic visual! This is really well done.

Made so very readable - so much appreciated for an attention deficit type (me) and your use of an obvious very creative mind, well done.

I love the pacing of this and the grace...it seems more conversational than written, because of the ease with which I was able to read it...it flows so gracefully as if you're speaking; I like that sense of contemplative ease. This also reminds me a bit of water; for me this piece is a bit water-like in that there are currents and ripples and little vortexes and such, but nothing that interrupts or otherwise ruins the flow! Like Tara, I found myself intrigued, immensely, by stringing words with the letter "O" together! What an image...that one's gonna float through my mind quite a lot! Really exquisite writing. I'd love to see more! On a different note, sort of: this reminds me of some of the Czech writing I've read...most notably Lukas Tomin. The tone is different, the cadence and spirit is totally different, but there's a similar sort of meditative grace that works incredibly well...nice "dark country" stuff, especially if that dark country is the human mind, the human heart, or that odd border between the two. I could go on and on forever about this, but as it's already after midnight as I post this, I'm gonna just shut up and do the responsible thing and get some sleep! Ah, but what a wonderful way to end the night. This is really super.
