My scores were highest and the Erhlutian Macroscope selected me from all other candidates. If you are trying to work some angle, I thought you might perform with as small an audience as possible. Large audiences tend to get you arrested. You do look more trim and professional then last time,though. Did some woman straighten you out?" He shrugged slowly and said with a smooth tone,"I'll listen to whomever can give me advice and make it stick. I listened to several people, some of whom WERE women!" He smiled and waved a hand. "Also, my ship IS rigged to detonate if boarded by people who I do NOT want on board. It's an Altha-Krommium super-dimensional scout ship with a tesseract frame. It's eight-fold larger on the inside than it appears." Isis stopped walking. "Are you jesting? 'SUPER-DIMENSIONAL'? That has only be used once to describe an Altha-Krommium warship! Are you serious? AND YOU want to sell it to the Fleet? You HAVE changed! I'm impressed." He laughed,"You aren't going to stick me in the brig again,are you?" She raised an eyebrow,"We'll see, if you continue to impress me, perhaps not." He said,"I just want enough money to buy an out-of-the-way colony planet and be Governor for life! Nothing too fancy, just someplace to settle down on." She gave him a look,"YOU? Give up the fast life? Who are you, and what have you done with Obett?" He said,"I need to get out of the life where I feel like I have people sneaking around behind me." At that instant, Sunshine sneaked our of the inspection corridor across from one of the hangar entrances. She paused to wave Keo off. She moved on silent cat-feet to the door and punched in the code she had seen. The door beeped once. They stopped. She flattened herself backward to the door. It snapped open and Sunny back-flipped into the airlock. Keo faded back into the corridor, Captain Oviea said,"If you jump at every small sound, I guess you are ready to retire to an out-of-the-way colony planet!" He nodded,"It certainly seems that way! When we get to your ready room, for clarity, I am assuming you aren't ready to pick up where were all those years ago? I have a girl-friend. Mostly. I have someone I want to BE one." She looked at him with a new look,"You ARE a different person. You seem to have to matured a LOT. I am impressed." He shrugged. "Different things affect different people in different ways." The blast doors slid shut behind them after they walked through. Keo ran across the corridor into the airlock. He kept his blanket around his waist. Sunshine had landed on her feet, and he said,"Wow, that was graceful!" She said,"I know that guy! He was the bastard who was stepping out with my mom last night! My dad needs to beat the crap out of him! Maybe his ship is here... WAIT! It's rigged. Forget that! CRAP! We'll have to find one that is a lower priority to steal!" Keo said,"Sounds good to me. You're on top of this!" He squeezed her hand. Her heart caught in her throat. She smiled and blushed. "Vacuum-suits first, then a shuttle or something. Just stay undistracted and your eyes open! NO staring at ANY of my body-parts! Get it?" He grinned and snapped a sloppy salute,"HUR-hur-hur! Yes,Ma'am! Got it!" The door cycled open to a bee-hive of activity. Sunshine said,"We might be in luck with all the pre-landing activity. Let's follow along over there, opposite of his ship over on that wall, there!" He remarked,"You have good eyes!" She rolled her only eye and gave him a look. He grinned,"EYE--sorry!" They sneaked around the periphery on the huge hangar. --To be continued!--
