Description

Rita mentioned her fondness of the golden birches, so this is for her....sounds like bad weather back there, so hope you can enjoy these blues skies as well. As quickly as the leaves went from green to gold, within 4 or 5 days, the leaves are gone from at least half the trees. I love the color of the trees against the landscape...some up here in Eastern Washington are orange or nearly red. Even better is when the leaves start to fall, and there is this delightful, gentle rain of bright golden "coins." It's as near as I'll ever get to riches falling from the skies.

Oooooooh! the sheer beauty of it all! Lothlorien .. grins. It's beautiful, and the sunshine and blue skies and golden trees are sight for rain weary eyes. Thankfully we are just west of massive dumps of rain. We've only had mists, drizzles and showers. Dreary, wet, and cold. But I am grateful that we have had no floods as some places have. And yes, don't forget to shuffle through the leaves .. and toss some back to the sky!! This looks like heaven .. Nirvana ..
