I am a Kiwi artist from Aotearoa New Zealand. I make beautiful fractals BIO There is really not a lot to say. I specialise in representational fractal art, including portraits of people which I make for individuals. There is also a liberal scattering of abstract work. Much of my work looks very 'unfractal like', and much is in fact, indistinguishable from other artforms displayed
Â
But make no mistake. Digitalk ar, and fractal art in particular is Fine Art.Â
Â
My experiences with prissy gallery owners, agents, and other hangers on, has been abrasive to say the least. If you stick on a bit of wool with super glue, that makes it mixed media--which is acceptable; if you stick a photo in somewhere, that's also acceptable...as photograqphy. GRRRRRR
Â
I have several times been invited to contribute works for gallery shows. There were three invitations: The first two were withdrawn when they found out I was a digital artist. The third didn't bother to reply to my6 emails telling them what kind of art i do.
Then there was the locally sponsered art show. They accepted my entry fee then 'forgot' to hang the works.
Â
So What I do Is FINE ART. OK??

When a people like the Tongans do something like this, they have bigger hearts and souls than billionaires! Great tribute!

The impulses of the heart does not control the "major financial centers of the World" ... there are many more people very modest in the West, having opened their hearts, than there are billionaires around the world . For those who have faith, which is not my case ... I recall that the Epoq of the Golden Calf and worship, will end badly! Rest assured, the billionaires come in their churches ... but they do not believe in their next! Beautiful star of the Brotherhood of some Man!

Awesome tribute! I visited Tonga many years ago when i was still in the navy. The people were so very welcoming and friendly i can totally understand your sentiments. LOL i still have a T-shirt (that doenst fit anymore) from Tonga, is says "Tonga - where time begins" If i remember correct they are situated right in the timezone where you switch to the next day. Thank you for this post bringing back such fond memories of what seems a lifetime ago now. Before i forget, your image is excellent, beautiful creativity.

Splendid Fractalwork, excellent. Needs are filled from suprising sources sometimes. In the late 80s I was working a 2 year contract with an International Assistance Seismic Exploration Program of Petro-Canada in Nepal. At the time one of the Poorest Countries in the World. Everywhere were signs of assistance from all over the world but one struck me over all others. A Truck full of Bags of Rice labeled "Aid from Bangladesh" Imagine...one of the Neediest helping another in their very own shoes. Peace

Very often it is true that people who have little themselves, give more, contribute more than people who already have enough. The first ones are rich inside. They are as your star, already a star, filled with beautiful feelings. Hold on there, Kiwi's ♥

Beautiful star and a touching story:-)) I remember Queen Salote of Tonga coming to our Queen Elizabeth II Coronation in 1953. She was the only Royal who refused to have her horse drawn Coach covered over. She sat in the pouring rain on the journey to Westminster Abbey- a smile as big as the sun, waving to everyone. We took her to our hearts.
