I was on Bourbon Street once during Mardi gras and it looked EXACTLY like this (including your panoply of ‘la-de-doo-dah-day’ wild-eyed revelers). You have conveyed the boisterous abandon of the occasion wonderfully. This is a delightful rendering with your usual keen eye for color and balance.
