Description

Just strolling around in the forests of Mona (my previous render), so there are the same objects as in that one: Trees by Jcinbama (Ashundar), bushes and grasses by Mr. Lamppost (Planetside), by using my own surface shaders. No difficult work here, but I just liked the mood since I'm out for mushrooms in the forests these days a lot and this reflects the feel I'm having then quite well. Not that I'd find any mushrooms in this one though! ;-) Thanks for looking and commenting.

Good plant coverage, and nicely composed scene. The mist is good in the distance, but does appear a little blotchy near left. Not sure what you could do to rectify that; maybe distance shader pushing it back a bit or lower it a bit. But it's a very minor point, and probably not worth bothering about.

WeeLaddie is absolutely right regarding the mist. It has the settings from the "Golden Forest" tutorial but the clouds seem to be a bit too small and I didn't like those batches too. Changing settings and heights didn't bring good results though, since mostly the misty touch in the forground disappeared and I didn't want it to look that clear. In the end I lost patience to go on fiddling. ;-)

I love the light-shadow play on the foreground tree. A really beautiful scene and superb work, despite the blotchy mist- if it were resolved, this render would be outstanding.
