Oh my what a beauty, the lions I see are usually at zoo's and usually being lazy and boring and snooring away when I go by them. Love the eyes. Sending this one to a buddy.. :) He doesn't get on here much to comment, so I send him stuff to check out from time to time. Have a nice Sunday~

Wonderful capture. The only zoo I ever enjoyed visiting was the San Diego Wild Animal Park in Ramona, CA. They have natural areas for the animals that is like their habitat originally. The vet care is interesting there because they have to chase them down and capture them. The people are on a small train to view the animals, in other words, we are the ones in the cage, not the animals, as it should be.

Charberry - this is not a zoo animal either. The lions are wild and roam freely in the park. The only "odd" thing is that they are fed once a week. There are no antelope etc. so they can hunt. I too hate zoos and animals in cages!
