Description

This is the big sister to the IL-2. Kept going long after the Great Patriotic War. I don't know of any flying examples, but there are a few in museums. A good looker, just imagine this with a Garret turbine. In fact, imagine any of the WW 2 birds with Garret's instead of the engines they did have! By the way, can anyone tell me the username of the guy who used to publish those lovely thre-views here please?

Superb work as always.. I have done a quick bit checking and as far as I know there are none flying.. There are some in museums though.. Well done.. Rob

Thanks Tracker, I was getting concerned that maybe he's left the site for good, which would be a shame, his work is so good. Am feeling a bit lonely on here, time someone else posted.
