Description
This is now a casino on Catalina Island, California. It's a beautiful old Art Deco building and I still haven't been able to see the inside. Both this year and last, a big jazz festival was being held and the tours aren't given during the weekends there is music. My mom used to come out here as a young woman, back in the early 40's. She loved it--one of these days, I WILL get inside!!
And yes, Andrew--it's here, in all its glory!!

What a great old building; it really screams "California" to me, for some reason. Maybe having grown up in the area I just got used to this art deco style architecture in all the places that weren't glass towers...or slum... Beautiful capture!

Great photo of one of my fave places. The inside is so amazing! I love Catalina and go often. My fave sushi restaurant is there. LOL. If you can go during the week, it's better than the weekends. Off season is also better.
