Description
Way back in 2007 when I visited Chicago, I snapped this image of Lake Michigan from next to the John G Shedd aquarium. As you can see it was a rather miserable day weather wise. I do however love the moodiness of the image!

I like the same thing about this that you do ... the soft fog, the wonderful moodiness, the diffuse light ... it's lovely! The day we were there was bright and sunny and there were people playing and sailboats on the lake. I like it both ways, and can see how people fall in love with this enormous lake! Beautiful image, Dierbaar. :X

I recognize this! I love this shot! I have yet to capture Lake Michigan in one of its moody moods, and I have to say that you've done so marvelously! This is just the kind of shot that makes Chicago such a great city. Of course Chicago is photogenic and you've captured the perfectly Chicago thing with this breakwater. This is stunning. Gorgeous!
