Description
This image is for Trish and Maddelirium. The character is the most lovely and charismatic Amaya Bleu by seven12342 (Trish) who I find to be a lovely goth character. Her skin well captures whatever lights you throw on her, giving her a wide latitude with many different scenes.
Here I tried to invoke the classic Hollywood horror flick glam image of the late 50's. Goth or fantasy? I could not decide but finally put her in fantasy in part because that is where most of my work winds up and there is a bit of a magical feel to the image.
This scene is getting close to where I have always wanted my art to go. It was inspired by the work of Maddelirium who to my mind is producing some of the most gorgeous fantasy and goth images on this site. I have spent a long time studying her images, trying to figure out just how she had done her work. It has been a pleasant journey and I encourage you to do the same. Some of my faves are: "Fire"

Perfect atmosphere, and the slightly tilted viewpoint adds to that air of mystery. I'm looking at that sparkly spell she's casting - most fascinating. As usual, your colors really pop here! Good use of the mist. I think it would add if you made it swirly a bit at her feet as if moving through it moves the mist some. Just an idea :) Thank you for the great suggestions on my pieces. I really find them helpful!
