Description

To think, I have so much stuff for V3 and I never use any of it anymore... My tribute to V3, who was my introduction to 3D rendering. I'll never forget her again! *hugs her tight* Let's see. Summer is home sick with a double ear infection, taking anti-inflammatory medication, antibiotics and decongestants. The infections are so bad that I've resorted to lip-reading, because other than the general tone of the voice, I can't hear anything anyone is saying to me. We'll see how I'm doing by Thursday (when I'm scheduled to work next). Hopefully this will all blow over then. *sigh* It's always something, I'll tell you what. Hope all is well on your side of the screen, guys. My love to all of you. Thanks for viewing, comments welcome as always.

Beautiful post work on this image... gorgeous job of working with cracked brushes. Deep eyes. And a really well done V3 that is playing a larger role than expected.

brewgirlca - believe it or not, there was very minimal postwork to this piece: some contrasting work and colour alterations was about all I did. The cracks came on the skin by default, I can't remember who the character is by...

Beautiful, Summer! Your close up portraits tend to be very powerful and engaging; I enjoy them very much.  (Yaana) Gently Painted comes straight to mind as an other example. I was writing on a friend's work earlier today about the sustaining virtues of Victoria III.  She remains an exceptional beauty, and I am happy to see her portrayed with devotion as you have done. Hey, You!.. Congratulations on being selected within the Gallery of the Week!! Appropriate it is that the this is for your writing.   :-) That smile has a glint of pride within it. & It is extra sweet that the spotlight is upon your birthday piece.  Do you know your New Testament (yeah, yeah, I hear ya!) .. the line: "I can speak to you through anything."  As the gallery of the week themes come around but once a year, I'd say it's clearly Life giving you a wink that she's still watching over you ... even if you can't hear her through your stuffy ears.  ;-) Big Healing Hugz!! With deep warmth, Terry

I've always liked V3 - she looks like a broken doll here. Very powerful portrait. Hope you are on the mend soon, Summer.:o) CC
