Description

Cid Stone, full-time building contractor, part-time hobby geneticist, did the impossible. He made 5 copies of his favorite acquaintance and former next door neighbor. Having done that, he was lost for awhile as to what to do with them. Good fortune stepped up to the plate in the form of his former girlfriend and once-upon-a-time, almost fiance. After stumbling around with his creations for almost a year, ge confided to her what he had accomplished. At first, Lucy McBainbridge didn't believe him. He was only able to convince her after he took her down to his subterranean lab and introduced her to them. She was understanadably astounded, of course, she was entrance by the five clones, but wasn't so shocked as to realize Cid had a real problem on his hands. Fortunately for Cid, Lucy was a real smart cookie as her PhD in Psychology proved. She sized up the situation and gave Cid a plan of action. Cid had taken very good care of his clones. She didn't note any serious phychological manifestations. The first thing she ordered was physicals and gentics testing to see what shape they really were in. The tests came back better than either Cid or Lucy could have hoped for. All five young clones/guys were the picture of health with no apparent health problems or defects in their genomes. Once they were sure of the guys, (Lucy didn't want to give them a complex, so she started calling them guys and made Cid do the same), she insisted he get some tutors in and get the guys up on the ground level, so they could start experiencing the real world. One step led to another and before long, the guys were adapted to life on the surface well enough to start going out with a chaparon. They all loved seeing the world first-hand and were very quick studies. Both Cid and Lucy were amazed at their learning curves. Before long, they were all able to attend classes at the local communty colleges, where they were allowed to interact with the other students. Cid was careful not to have all five of them in the same college. Twins were easy enough to explain, but five identicals was a bit of a stretch. The guys even worked out with Cid in his construction business and got along well with his various building crews. They were naturals, all of them, at blending in and becoming a part of society. After three years, Lucy pulled Cid aside and told him it was time to cut the strings and turn the guys loose and let them determine their own lives. Separate identities had been created for all five of them and they were all contributing to society 100%. Cid was a little reluctant at first, but soon caved in when he thought about it a short while. So, here they are, all out by the pool in the backyard, taking perhaps their last group shot together. After today, they will all go their separate ways, finding their own ways in life. Cid couldn't help but get teary eyed when he thought about them all leaving, but Lucy helped him understand and told him she would be there if he needed her when and if he started feeling the empty nest syndrome. They all teared up a little when they realized they were actually leaving Cid. They promised him they would keep in touch. He knew they would at first, but like all other families, eventually their own lives would take preeminence and Cid would soon be a fading memory. Goodbye Clones! We wish you all the best! Text us when you can! As for trying the experiement again, Cid answered that without hesitation when asked by Lucy. Once was enough! M2 characters. Rendered in Poser 6. Postwork in PS7. Thank you for taking a peek! Your support is greatly appreciated!
