Description

Just a study of morph and textures using as reference original Nefertiti pictures at the age around 35-40. I made the head morph for v4 in Zbrush , and later textured using a real photo references in DP3D , it was hard to get the real look because Nefertiti bust is more surreal and the pictures of the bust have different focal length what is difficult to get the right proportion but i guess the final effect is not that bad :) I wish i had the rest of the original clothing to make it complete... I was just so curious to see how V4 will looks like morphed and textured this way. i hope you like Cath

An outstanding project! Love the way it's turning out and I'd too love to see how she'd look in the authentic costume and all! Nicely done!

This is a tough image to re-create, but I know why you wanted to do it. This bust is one of my all-time favourites, and it's even more stunning when you think that it is thousands of years old. I'd like to see versions with the neck included and the headdress, because these help to make the piece distinctive in my view. Gary

It is a very interesting study and tough attempt.. I am also captivated by recreating a 3D model of historical personalities. I will try it one day. Thanks for sharing and your inspiring work.

I want to add that Nefertiti was not Nubian or Egyptian , her face features indicate mostly that she was Italian , her skin tone was more as a butter cookie redish-yellow plus the nose and the nasal bridge , deep eyes, smiley lips and strong jaw line are coming mostly in Italian women only especially the nasal bridge that is very masculine not seeing in other races by women as only Italian . They call her :: the beauty has come , so she was not native , later from the history we know that a lot of italian folk come down to egypt so the true egyptian race mixed a lot , the today egyptian are complete different from the one once painted on the walls and sculptured .they are more Arabic looking especially the noses but well not all, I know a native family from Cairo, the members of the family looks like like once painted on the wall or better as the golden mask of King Tut , with big eyes small cute nose and juicy lips, well from what they said they are part italian part egyptian , even Ramses that looks very much Italian had redish hair well comon in italy but well this news are not good for the egyptians at all and they try to change the facts as much as possible, before they said that the nefertit mummy was a men, now they said it was dna mistake so something stink here and the time will tell us the truth , i did study the neferiti mummy x-ray pictures and they fit so well with the facial features with the bust so i guess Dr.Flecher had right but was banned from egypt for telling the truth and make the discovery her own what egypt did not like at all .. and i was hoping for the truth ... I saw Nefertiti Bust in Berlin Museum a time ago , it was really amazing work , and if you don;t know in New York on time square is exhibition of King Tut treasure open until next year , so grab you chance to see it , it will never come back again to USA , and thank you for the comments I am still working on the details of my Nefertiti
