Just for the variations, I share these little cute berries. I think it is from some kind of Barberry.

The day began with rain, which we havent got for weeks, so I think it is ok. Now the sun seems to show its face between the clouds and the wind gone to other places. :-) In all it is a beautiful day here.

LOL! Andrea, I wanted to write Berberis, as it is what we call it in Denmark, but I looked it up in my Danish/English wordbook and it said Barberry :) Yes Very prickly, but it doesnt disturb my love for this bush, because I grew up with Berberis around all the Apartment House all my childhood. We builded caves in them and we made bracelets of the berries and were hiding in the bushes, playing hide and seek. So when I see a Berberis, my thoughts go gladly back to my childhood. Yes, we got stung, but we didnt care much.

Such a cheerful-looking bush! I wouldn't mind the prickles ... maybe around the edge of the property, not right down in the garden where I would run into it!

I love red and these berries really look beautiful and bright. My barberry is just coming into flower and it looks lovely. The autumn colours are so bright aren't they.
