A friend years ago had a Great Dane that she had to put a tennis ball on it's tail to keep it from having an open wound all of the time on it. He'd wag his tail all of the time but her house was small and he'd hurt it on the wall corners, etc. to where she had blood all over the place!! I'm not a big fan of docking tails like this one here but it sure would've saved her some work... lol.
